WinACC - Winchester Action on Climate Change is charged with facilitating the reduction in the Winchester area carbon fooprint by 2015. It brings together Government, Business and Individuals to achieve this goal.
This meeting is a record of a bi-monthly public meeting at the Quaker House in Winchester.

This was Southampton's second GO GREEN Fair . The conferenceREACTION report focuses on the 6 presentations and a film that were held through the day. There was a wide cross section of speakers including:
  • Alan Whitehead MP talking about the micro- generation equipment he has installed at home.
  • Simon James on Transition Towns
  • Dilys Gartside comparing the UK and Dutch cycling situation
  • Chris Bluemel on future power supplies
  • The Story of Stuff a stimulating view of the cradle to grave process we have created
  • Mark Hancock from Vestas Wind Turbines on the Isle of Wight
  • David Willox ran a session applying the Theory of Constraints to environmental issues
    • All neatly recorded as a series of maps.
