Ecademy London Meeting 21 January 2010

Welcome to the record of the Ecademy London January 2010 meeting.  These meetings happen monthly. Click for details of this month's Ecademy London meeting.
This month's meeting was introduced and hosted by Jeremy Nicholas.  Who as ever engaged in a dangerous but humourous repartee with both the speakers and audience.  No records are kept of this for fear of damaging Jeremy's reputation.
Penny Power gave us the philosophy and benefits of effective social networking.  Manley received a personal briefing prior to the meeting and was signed up to Twitter.
Manley Hopkinson spoke about "Relationships in Troubled Waters". He started with a chilly introduction covering his trip to the North Pole with a couple of Royal Marines.  Then he informed us of his forthcoming trip to the South Pole which will beat the Norwegian record of 24 days by 3 days. If it goes according to plan.  More details at the Best of British - South Pole and the Away at Christmas web sites.
Each of the above is summarised on a map of their presentations and you can watch the video of Manley's presentation in full.  We also did post match video interviews of Penny, Manley and Thomas Power plus some sound interviews from members of the audience.
I hope you enjoy this record.  Please contact the speakers if you need more information from them.  If you have an event that needs recording and publishing please contact me.
