The award winning
Anna Fiorentini Theatre and Film School
, has
been running in Hackney, East London for 8 years and has now
opened a branch in the Docklands. Over 250 children aged 7 - 18
follow a weekly time- table of Drama, Singing, Dance, Film and
Set/Costume Design under the direction of some of the industry's
top professionals. The agency attached has secured many TV and
Film roles for our students and our yearly Variety Performance at
the Hackney Empire shows off the young talent.
The ethos behind the school is that any child regardless of any
financial, physical or learning disability should have access to our
professional training. With this in mind we do a variety of
fundraising events to raise money for bursaries and a couple of
years ago in partnership with Equator Media set up Anna
Fiorentini's City Academy
for adults, offering weekly performing
workshops to corporates who wish to access the performing arts
for fun. Profits from this new venture go towards free and
subsidised places at the AF childrens' school.
