The event, held during Enterprise Week was sponsored by BlackBerry and Microsoft and supported by Make Your Mark.
Business Scene’s Managing Director Warren Cass received a
warm response from both main sponsors Microsoft and Blackberry
and the exhibitors he spoke to.
Debbie McMahon, Blackberry, said, "This has been a great
opportunity to showcase the commercial and operational benefits
of business mobilisation. All businesses are looking for
opportunities to be more competitive and successful – the
BlackBerry solution allows you to do this."
Nick Davies, Microsoft said, "There has been a really good buzz
tonight. Even in these tough economic times, the atmosphere and
energy has been impressive. We have met a wide range of
businesses, from people interested in solutions for their home
office, to companies wanting to know how technology can help
them compete and manage costs."

It was also supported by Make Your Mark Enterprise Week.
Many people had attended the inaugural event earlier in the year at
the Connaught Rooms. They felt that having this second London
Connections in Enterprise Week was perfect. The venue, the room
layout and the speakers were excellent.
Many attendees expressed their satisfaction with the venue,
the range of exhibitors, the short but good speeches and the buzz that
was very evident.

Mike Southon - The Beermat Entrepreneur
set the scene,
warmed us up and hosted the evening. He gave us two pieces of
advice for the current economic climate:
1. Cash is king, make sure you always have some.
2. Its best to sell safe stuff to existing customers. Don't
experiment.
