Hi Chris, Glad you enjoyed and got a record. Can you help me please: Halfway down the map Bill did an interim summary and highlighted three categories. I missed one. What was it? My guess is Jonathan Ortmans drove that change in the videoing rules. His brother Marc thinks Bono gave a good speech at an event that opened GEW in Washington U2’s Bono Speaks at GU Global Social Enterprise Event. It looks as though he needs a mind map at times, not sheets of paper!

Thanks for your mind-map synopsis. We have just played back a copy of the entire speech. We have a copy of President Clinton’s entire speech on video. He was so down to earth. Very sincere and frank. Cheers to the organisers for changing their minds to allow photography, videos etc. I will play it over and over again to my Children and friends.

Thanks for the feedback. It’s exactly why I create them: for people who missed the show or where in the other room or just need to be reminded.

I am trying to get a link to a video of the speech, if it is published. Then the map gives you a guide about whether to watch the video at all (yes in this case of course) or if you have limited time or a specific section that interests you, roughly where it is. I do have access to technology for linking from the map to that point in the video but it was not used here.

Bill Clinton’s speech was full of surprises for me, not least his recognition of the environmental issues we face. I was doing my part until the chain on my cycle broke two miles from home

Although at the conference on all four days I missed Bill Clinton’s speech as I had to go to an important meeting at the same time. So it is really good to have this mindmap. I am particularly intrested in environmental issues and will be taking a training course as a speaker in the next week or so in order to be able to speak out on related issues and help to effect the change we need.
Mother Earth is crying out for healing.
Would you do to your own body what we do to to the earth?
destroying/depleting resources, dumping waste; polluting the land, the seas, the very air we breathe. We all have a part to play and the time is now, before it is too late.
I urge you to take the action you know you need to take.
